Hotel del Coronado’s Grand Reopening came to life in a seamless, 12-hour celebration that honored the resort’s storied past while showcasing its bold future. From tranquil welcomes beneath the Dragon Tree to golden-hour mezcal tastings, rooftop DJ sets, and synchronized swimming, every detail was choreographed to create an immersive, sensory-rich journey. Guests wandered through a Garden Party with living statues spanning 150 years of history, ballerinas in golden birdcages, botanical cocktails, and celebrity appearances; indulged in poolside luxury with Aquabatix swimmers, rooftop beats, and world-class culinary offerings; and ended the evening with a coastal-chic reception, live music, and a dazzling fireworks finale. More than a reopening, it became a living story of legacy, innovation, and celebration.
